[Flayn can't really get a good look at it, since he's clothed right now, but at least he isn't wincing just from the motion of his stretch. That's a plus, and some of the tension bleeds out of her shoulders as she watches him.

Good - she was worried.

(Should she really be worried when she's the one that just passed out for a solid month?)]

...that is a shame. I would have liked to see it from start to finish.

[The celebrations, that is. She looks down at her teacup for a moment, then breathes out a sigh before sipping at it. ...it's really delicious, and she relaxes further as she continues to drink it.

She supposes there will always be next year. It's unlikely that it will be safe enough for her to return to Fódlan within a year's time, after all. It makes her a little sad to think about how long she'll be away from her home - because even having been chased away from it, Fódlan is her home, and she'll always think fondly of it - but it's comforting to know she'll have opportunities to experience the things she's missed here, too.

Sleeping through it all while the world moves on without her has always been one of her greatest fears.

Better not to think about that. Luckily, Claude's moving on. She will too.]

The earth...

[...interesting. In a way, the Goddess really is the source of magic - the Nabateans are descended from her, after all - but it's perhaps not quite the way most in Fódlan imagine it. The source of Flayn's power comes from her blood and her Crest Stone itself; she can't easily explain that, though.

But she can experiment with it, and learn about Almyran magic.]

I would like to try that. I do not yet know much about anything here, but - I will learn. Perhaps sharing what I know of Fódlan's magic will make it easier to bridge the gap between these countries, as well.

[She looks up briefly, then smiles before looking down into her teacup again.]

...thank you, Claude. This is not easy, but... it feels easier, knowing you are here.
