"You suspected."

(If one is injured, they don't really expect to be knocked out cold for extended periods of time, do they? He raises a brow and takes another sip from his tea, his finger tapping at the tray thoughtfully.

This has happened once before? When her mother died?
)

I see.

(He's never really known much about Seteth or Flayn. Not much opportunity to really get to know either of them, you know? Maybe if circumstances were different, he would have taken a greater interest. No point wondering about what if's and what could have been's though, not when they have now.

It's only natural to be curious about the girl he's been trusted with. They'll have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other. It's only fair that he start to learn more about her now that she's learned his own secrets.
)

I wasn't the only one. A patient you can't help or even understand is every healer's worst nightmare. They'll want to check on you later.

(He reaches for one of the sweets. He's never been much of a fan but he has to admit that after being away for so long, he's come to miss certain things,)

Don't worry, one of the healers will be able to speak with you. Fatima. She's one of mother's ladies. (A priestess that befriended Tiana easily when she arrived. A kind and intelligent woman that had looked out for him as well when he was growing up. Someone had to help him bandage up his wounds once in a while.) If you need anything, you can let her know. I think the two of you will get along.

(Being people with the same set of skills. Which brings him to another thing,)

You're welcome to take your time here; there's no rush. Explore the grounds, make yourself at home. Everyone knows who you are and I promise, there are people here you can speak to, too, myself included.

But be careful. I've told you what people think of Fodlanders here. Things are... a little better now, all things considered.

(His mother has been able to make a few changes while he was away and his accomplishments in Fodlan had followed him to Almyra, earning him a few more supporters, especially from the soldiers. He's pretty popular among the military these days. It helps that Nader has always been fond of him.)
