( As King of Nohr, Xander laid the foundation of peace and prosperity for the kingdom. Sakura, dedicated herself to helping the underprivileged, and the two worked happily together.

Though Nohr had been a country that had caused her family and people great pain in the past, Sakura had thrown herself into the restoration efforts, working tirelessly alongside her husband. Despite early whispers of disapproval (how could Xander marry a Hoshidan princess?), she'd easily won the hearts of the people with her charity work. She possessed traits many in Nohr had considered weak and unworthy of a Nohrian king but was strong enough to persevere and earn favor. New trade between their countries ensured even the poorest Nohrian never hungered again and despite being a princess --a queen, now-- she would regularly visit the underprivileged and tend to the sick and those injured from the long war. At her husband's side, she was loyal and attentive, unafraid to speak up in support of him and mindful of the stress he was under.

The two of them had truly taken on a twenty-four hour job and while they still made time for each other, it looked like they were working more than anything else. At least, that's how it had looked to their retainers. Which probably explains why on one of the rare days the sun was shining in the sky and the weather warm and pleasant, Sakura had found herself forced into a new dress and Xander with a picnic basket shoved in his arms. The four retainers had announced they'd planned a romantic and relaxing evening for their lord and lady and while Laslow and Peri insisted everything would be taken care of, Subaki and Hana were quick to step in and insist they shouldn't worry. It had sounded like a wonderful idea to Sakura which probably helped convince Xander more than anything else once she expressed her interest.

And so they find themselves at their picnic area-- a field away from the castle where delicate but hardy flowers bloom. They're completely alone and as they begin to set up, Sakura can't help but remark with a smile,

It's such a beautiful day...

( She isn't sure who thought it was a good idea to do the laundry but Ryoko decides that when she finds out, they're banned from laundry duty forever and banished to the fields until winter.

Her first thought, upon seeing the whites mixed with the colors is "Oh no! My clothes!" but it didn't take her long to realize everyone's laundry had been mixed together. Listen, they've been together for a long time and been through a lot but she really isn't sure if she's okay with her underwear being mixed in with their work clothes just yet if only because she doesn't want them to see. She is a pure maiden.

She sits in the living room, sorting through the clothes and trying to assess the damage. She's lost a summer dress that she was hoping to repurpose with fall layers. If it was going to be stained pink, at least it could have been stained completely instead of with these ugly pink blotches. It looks like some of Kashuu and Midare's casual clothes have been stained a hideous shade of yellow-green and off pink as well. There's no saving some of these things anymore and she sets them aside to ask them what they want to do later.

At the end of the pile, she finds a few sheets that she can repurpose, or at least, she thinks they're sheets...

( She recognizes this ratty old thing instantly. As much as she hates it, she's very careful when she untangles Yamanbagiri's now blotchy pink cloak from the pile of laundry. She's not really disappointed that it's ruined, exactly... but she is disappointed because it had taken so long to convince him to let it get washed and now this felt like a betrayal of his trust. It was his security blanket of sorts and her inattentiveness had ruined it. But maybe he wouldn't mind? He didn't really seem like the type to care about his appearances... at least, not this way. Surely, the original Yamanbagiri doesn't have a pink cloak...

With a heavy sigh, she massages her forehead and neatly folds his cloak beside her, and waits. Maybe he's on a mission or in the fields or maybe he's resting-- who knows! But surely it won't take too long for him to pass by because if she knows him, he won't be able to go long without his cloak...

When she finally catches him, she crosses her arms across her chest and frowns. She doesn't really want to do this and her displeasure shows.

Yamanbagiri. ( She beckons him to come over, ) Come here.

1. Shipwrecked
This is my island, understand? ( Spain draws a line in the sand with his boot and steps back, standing tall, hands on his hips, and head held high, ) And you aren't allowed to cross that line.

2. Dancing
( Spain approaches and stands next to you. Rolling on his feet, he looks around innocently before asking, )

You aren't going to dance?

3. House breaker
( Spain swears he was only gone for a few months. When he comes back, he finds his manor in a state of chaos The bookshelves are knocked over, the ink is spilled all over his papers, and that shirt wasn't pink when he left. Carrying said shirt and looking around the house, he'll try to find the henchman responsible, )

What happened?!

4. Secret
( He looks both ways before turning around the corner. He walks slowly and carefully, avoiding the creaking the floorboard. Spain has recently recently returned from a battle and he would rather keep his wounds a secret. After all, he wouldn't want anyone to worry. He shouldn't be too easy to find though-- you only have to follow the dirty bootprints and the smell of gunsmoke. )

5. Runaway
( There's a very important meeting going on at the castle but Spain has decided to sneak off into the city. He's currently flirting with some girls and making a few trades for trinkets that he thinks the children back at the castle might like. It's okay if the adults are mad at him for missing out-- the children will appreciate it, at least. )

timey wimey things.

( For some, the year is no longer what some of you thought it was but for all, you are certainly no longer where you were originally.

The floor beneath you rocks and all around you, there is the sound of wood creaking. The room is warm, the light is a dim light, and there's a smell-- spice? The sea? Something sickening.

Yes, this is a ship.

Soon, there are footsteps; heavy boots coming down a set of wooden steps. Dressed in a worn uniform and standing tall, Spain searches the cargo hold. Behind him, another man chatters in Spanish. "I saw them over there, Captain." The boot steps come closer and until Spain peers over one box, green eyes staring before raising a hand to signal the man with him. In Spanish, he gives orders to return to the deck and tend to things there.

Alone, Spain's eyes narrow and he addresses you:

Explain yourself.
